It seems like yesterday when i first rolled into the WDIZ studio and cracked the mic for the first time but it was actually July of 1994.   My life was interesting before that but since then book worthy.  19 Earthday Birthdays, Married, divorced, re-married, kids…not to mention the many historical news events I’ve covered over that time.  I’ve done everything thta i can do at this great radio station.
That being said Thank you to all of the tens of thousands of you that I’ve hi-fived, fist bumped, hugged and shook hands with over the last 18 years….I love this radio station and I love you all for helping me become who I am today.  I was offered a fair  three year contract to return in mornings at WJRR but I have decided not to renew.  For the past 2 years I have laid the ground work with some great friends from right here locally and the concept of KnuckleNap has taken shape, grown legs, and needs more attention than I presently have working with WJRR. I realize it’s a gamble but I will take the opportunity to turn the page and dive into my dream full time.  Myself, along with some friends that believe that we can grow a brand that promotes the adrenaline sports lifestyle and its Athletes from RIGHT HERE in our own back yard.  I hope you all will join us in  partnering with the local people and local businesses to have our very own “TapOut” “Vans” “Fox” “So Cal” “Hurley”…these are brands that are popular but they’re not local…that’s what I stand for, taking care of our part of the world.
